Send one tall image, not nine screenshots

You capture a long conversation or a full web page as it actually fits on your screen: five, eight, nine screenshots. Then you send them, and the other side gets a jumbled grid — thumbnails out of order, context broken, "which one comes after which?" Nine images tell a story only if they stay in line. One image cannot fall out of order.

Joining them properly

Our stitch tool joins images vertically or horizontally into a single file. Three details do the heavy lifting:

• Order is the order you picked — and you can drag the list to fix it. There is deliberately no sort-by-name button, because filename sorting is what produces "shot 1, shot 10, shot 2".
• Different widths are handled without stretching. The canvas takes the widest image; narrower ones are centred and the gap filled with a background colour you choose. Nothing gets distorted to fit.
• The seam is yours to set. A gap of zero joins screenshots seamlessly — right for one continuous page. A visible gap keeps each capture reading as its own panel — right for step-by-step instructions.

Mind the height

Stack eight phone screenshots and the result is thousands of pixels tall — some chat apps will compress a monster like that into soup. After stitching, run the result through resize with a sensible width; the whole strip scales down together. And because everything here runs in your browser, a screenshot full of private conversation never leaves your machine.

What we deliberately don't do

We don't auto-detect overlapping regions and blend scrolling captures into one continuous page. That trick fails quietly on repeated interface elements, and a stitch tool that guesses wrong destroys exactly the continuity you came for. Capture without overlap, and the seams line up because you lined them up.
