Your files stay on your device
Most online image tools upload your file to a server, process it there and send the result back. PixelSquish uses the browser's Canvas to do the work on your own machine. The image never reaches us, so we cannot store it or look at it. That matters when the file is company material or a photograph of a contract.
No file-count or size limits
There is no server bill, so there is no reason to cap you. Drop in a hundred images if you like. Speed follows your device, not our capacity.

Frequently asked questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No account, no payment. We may show ads, but we do not lock features.
- Does it work offline?
- Once the page has loaded, processing keeps working even if the connection drops — the work happens on your device. The one exception: the first PDF, HEIC or TIFF you add needs its decoder downloaded once.
- Does it handle iPhone HEIC photos?
- Yes. Drop a HEIC into Convert format and it is decoded in your browser, then saved as JPG or PNG. Nothing is uploaded.
- Can I use it at work?
- Yes, and it is safer than upload-based tools because the file never leaves the machine. Check your own workplace policy all the same.
