- Why won't my WebP open in the first place?
- Every browser reads WebP, but plenty of older editors and upload forms still refuse it. Converting to JPG gets you past them.
- What happens to a transparent WebP?
- JPG cannot hold transparency, so those areas are filled with white. If you need it kept, convert to PNG instead — there is a separate page for that.
- Is it free?

- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything happens inside your browser. A page that is already open keeps working even if you go offline.
